The nights are getting longer and it seems a storm is coming to the island!

With all these rumours of aliens, it's time to decide if we're celebrating all things spooky by staying in, going out, or... both??

Firstly, "Haunted Houses"

We’re back with our second-ever igloo decorating competition, and your task this time?

Create an igloo that best fits the theme: "Your Biggest Fear!" Take anything that you find spooky or scary and use any furniture you like to create an igloo around it.

Clowns? Insects? The dark? Jeff?

The choice is yours, but to add a fun twist, you MUST include the 'Goobert Plushie' from the September Better Igloos catalogue to be counted!

Simply create an igloo and share your final submission with us over in the dedicated thread over in our Discord along with your theme.

Don't have Discord? Don't worry!

Simply send us an unedited screenshot of your igloo along with your penguin name and theme to our support email: [email protected].

Prizing!

Ones submissions close, the Event Host team will pick their favourite 3 igloos

Secondly, "The Pumpkin Parade"

The plan: Gather on the Beach, get ourselves dressed into our best costumes, and work our way around the island showing just how fearless we are, looking awesome as we go! Who knows what tricks and treats we'll find? And boy... I sure hope these rumours of aliens aren't actually true!

Here's how it'll go down!

Once everyone is dressed up and ready, our very own Toblerone will be leading the group, planning out the spookiest route across the island and generally showing us all a good time to get us in the perfect head space for Halloween.

With no competitive element to this event, we've posted a community vote, exclusively for the Discord, for you all to vote on your 3rd and final slot in the October Washed up Wares!

What's Washed Up Wares?

It's a special catalog that's filled entirely with community-suggested clothing items!

The only way to snatch an item from the deep seas and have it in the pages for the whole server to wear is by winning our official community events!

Try not to get abducted by aliens!
